Stars and Stripes

Our stars and stripes billow
Beautifully in the breeze.
On this momentous day,
We became the land of the free.

1776,
Fourth of July,
To the British Empire
We triumphantly wave good bye!

While the legal separation
Happened two days ago,
The approval of our Independence today,
Declared that the USA is going solo!

So gather your family and friends,
Watch the fireworks and parades,
Have barbecues and picnics,
Celebrate this holiday!

We the people of the United States,
Are so proud to be,
A part of America, an amazing,
Beautiful country!
